LARGE TUSCANY RENTAL FARMHOUSE VILLA TO RENT IN ITALY WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS AND POOL

This rental villa has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 12. Set in the unspoilt green hills of Lunigiana and within ten minutes of Fivizzano, Podere La Serra in Agnino is a large farmhouse, renovated to a high standard in 2001.

The Tuscan Farmhouse

It is positioned close to the village and within 50 acres of its own vineyards, olive groves and woodland. This provides seclusion, yet allowing access to some of the most popular tourist spots.

THE ACCOMMODATION

The property is ideal for large families, two families or groups of friends sharing with its flexible accommodation. The house enjoys the benefit of an annexe which is completely self contained, ideal for big groups including either a person or a couple that need their own privacy.



The accommodation comprises, in the main house, four bedrooms (double or twin) two with en-suite bathrooms (with spa baths) and two with en-suite shower rooms, two kitchens, dining room, living room with large open fire place, quiet room with neighbouring W/C with shower (can be turned into another en-suite bedroom using the sofa bed) two further reception rooms and a wash room.

The well equipped kitchens have dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas hobs and ovens; there is satellite television with DVD and video, telephone, washing machine, stereo with tape and CD player. . The annexe is a metre away from the house and is not connected. It has a studio kitchen/living area with Jacuzzi shower room and a mezzanine double bedroom. Prices vary depending on whether the annexe is required in addition to the main house.

Outside, the immediate terraces provide ample sitting areas for sun bathing or enjoying the view from the shade of the pergola. There is parking for at least five cars, and there is a pizza oven and barbecue. Herbs are planted either side of the short path leading down to the large horizon pool; here you can either take a plunge or bask in the sun which rises at about 8am in the summer and (weather permitting) shines down onto the pool area all day. Fences and walls enclose the house sun terrace and pool areas.

LOCATION

The village of Agnino has ancient castle ruins, friendly residents, post office with exchange facilities, bar and small shop which can certainly supply you with the essentials, church and yet has a population of only about 100. The neighbouring village has a restaurant owned by the same family who will look after you during your stay. The whole area provides wonderful views and walks.
The house is within easy driving of the coast at Lerici and the Cinque Terre, the natural spa at Equi Terme, and shopping in the up and coming town of Aulla. At the right time of year there is a ski resort only 45 minutes away. You would be within an hour and a half of Florence, Genova and Parma and an hour of Pisa, Portofino and Lucca; many of these destinations can be reached by rail from Aulla which is only a 20 minute drive from the house.

The rental price for this villa ranges from £2000 to £3000 per week. Additional use of the Annexe is charged at £250 per week.
